Brick Walls Love Me

Not when I slip and run into them and bang my knee up. 

That does happen, but that's a story for another day. 

I've noticed that a TON of my outfit pictures in Instagram, are in front of brick walls. A lot of people have a standard area where they take outfit pictures..right? I mean Lauren and her beautiful deck, Kristin and her amazing deck- you get the deal. 

With me, it's brick walls!

Granted, these are all over the past 8 months or so, but that's really the only pretty feature of my school.

Also, I had a fantabulous birthday today (or yesterday, if you're reading this on Wednesday), so thanks for all of the wonderful wishes! A full(er) recap on friday- I promise!

What Would YOU tell your 15 year-old self?

I'm over my wisdom teeth. Just done. 

Done talking about them. Done complaining. It's time to move on. 

I noticed that I never really do outfit posts when I'm wearing non-dresses. It's like I have an aversion to pants/shorts outfits...which is weird because I only wear dresses/skirts like once or twice a week at the most. 

So today, I decided to change that. 

I decided to #ootd my outfit and I'm not wearing a dress. 

Yay for breaking out of molds. 

I realize that I sound incredibly lame right now, and you have every right to judge me for it. 

Anyway, outfit.

Falling in Love with Fall Fashion

It happens every year- I'm so excited for brights and florals and neons and sundresses and shorts at the beginning of every summer, but by the time the school year rolls around and it starts to get cool, I can't help but lust after darker tones, chunky sweaters, scarves, and boots. 

Oh boots. 

How I love thee. 

No matter that I have 5 pairs- I still want more. 

On my wish list for now? Proper riding boots, a new pair of fake Uggs (Mine are absolutely dying!) and combat boots! 

Like I said, boots. 

Aside from my evident love for boots, I've put together a list of fall fashion items that I am absolutely in love with!

I tried to do a Back-to-School kind of thing, but that's just me being super lame haha :)

Don't mind me...just adding to my already crazy scarf collection. I think this muted but still colorful scarf is perfect for transitioning from summer to fall!

I'm not much of an arm candy person, but this is just too cute!

Color Coordination is for Babies!

So I went shopping this past weekend for Back-to-school/I haven't gone shopping in forever, and I'm pretty pleased with what I've got!

My friend and I hit up Forever 21, H&M, Nordstrom, and Urban Outfitters. The next day my mom and I made a stop at the motherlode of all things school supply, Target. 

And I was secretly hoping to get some clothes!

Target, ya'll, is my weakness. 

Seriously. 

I LOVE browsing through the clearance rack (Ummm $6 shirts? YES please!), and their dress section is to die for!

It was no big surprise when our bill totaled to $260. Don't worry- I only contributed to like...$45 worth. 

Is it just me or is it impossible to go to Target without buying more than you wanted?

Anyways, enough about Target. Tuesday was the second day of school, and since student government was required to wear our shirts on the first day, Tuesday was my day to look cute. 

DISCLAIMER: I'm an awkward person and have an inability to post for pictures. 

 My shoes were in the front and I was too lazy to go get them. 

And so you have shoeless Hima.

I was really having trouble finding a matching cardigan, so I decided to wing it and throw another bright color on top.

It's Wednesday!

(Tell me, how many blog posts that you have ever read have started like that? "It's [insert day of the week here!]"

As if every day is their favorite day. 

Ha. 

The fact that it is Wednesday means two things: 

1. It's the middle of the week. (booo.)

2. It's time for my first Outfit post. 

Disclaimer: I am by no means an outfit person. When I'm not wearing jeans and a top, it is necessary that I document it.
